I am an architect and founder of Karelia studio in 1959. I hope to share with you the karelia story as well as some of my architectural and design work. I will comment on various topics and introduce you to some of the best designers in Finland and Scandinavia.

My passion in life is to live it to the fullest and most enriching and to share that with others.

While the karelia retail stores were open, there was a strong karelia community. I hope that we can reenergize this community by sharing our stories and memories. I am certain that many of you have stories about how you discovered beautiful and useful objects and tools at the karelia shops. Perhaps you purchased things, which are still components of your environment and which bring you joy. Please send me your stories and photos.
