Eglinton Avenue west.

Soft, circular forms were used throughout.

Goubaud de Paris Cosmetic Salon. I was approached by some ladies who had secured the franchise for a line of cosmetics from France. They wanted something elegant, warm and feminine with a presence on Eglinton Avenue West that distinguished them from other storefronts. I used slate as a facade material with wood battens enclosing the display windows.

The wood batten motif was carried inside.
