The York Regional School of Nursing was a large training facility located close to the North York General Hospital. The large number of similar rooms provided an opportunity to design many of the furnishing elements. The concept was to design individual elements that would work and interact with each other, enabling students to refigure the room layout to suit their changing needs and moods. It was satisfying to see that the students took full advantage of this possibility.
